Baked Brie

This is my go-to appetizer when I don't know what to make. I always have in the house and everyone loves it. Serve with crackers, breadsticks, or fruit, like apples. Experiment with different jams. I picked up Mango Chardonnay Jam at Tishbi Winery in Israel. It was fantastic in this recipe.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup jam or preserves*
1 8 oz can crescent roll dough
1 8 oz wheel brie cheese

*You can use more or less, depending on how sweet you like it

Instructions

(See below for complete directions)

  • Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Spread out crescent roll dough on cookie sheet until it's one large square.

  • Place brie in middle of the crescent dough.

  • Spread the jam evenly on top of the brie.

  • Use the extra dough that isn't under the brie to cover it competely.

  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until outside is lightly brown.
